treatment philosophy

To help missionaries fulfill the call of Jesus to reach the world, we work to develop the missionary as a whole person – body, soul and spirit. We address their spiritual, psychological and emotional processes, along with their marital and family relationships. We gear our work to their individual needs to encourage personal growth in all these areas. We also promote their professional growth through studies incorporating various resources.

We see our work as part of the much larger ministry of the church. As needed and as we are able, we team with others such as denominational boards, national leaders and local churches to enhance the missionaries' treatment. We are careful to work within our capabilities, and we refer missionaries to other sources when this is in their best interest.
