Campaign Program
These are times of transition,
creating unique challenges and opportunities.
We’ve prayed, we’ve researched, we’ve analyzed, consulted and brain stormed.
Now we’re GOING FOR IT!
We invite you to
join us because ...
WE'RE
RUNNING
STRONG
SCA has served the Denver area for
over 22 years. Under new leadership for the last eight years, we’ve grown
larger, stronger and better than ever.
- We’re financially solid.
We consistently operate in the black, and we have over a million dollars
equity in our building.
- We’re professionally outstanding.
With their quality training and diverse specialties, our staff of 20
licensed therapists is the largest and most versatile in the Rocky Mountain
area.
- We’re community minded.
Working to change lives on a broader scale than we can through fee-based
services, SCA provides training, support and interventions for organizations
and ministries. Last year, SCA gave away over $130,000 worth of pro
bono and reduced-fee services to clients with limited incomes.
WE'RE FACING CHALLENGES
SCA has come to a unique place in
our history, where we can either maintain or strengthen our foundations
and step up to a new level of service.
More than ever, now is the time to:
- Adapt to current economic
trends. World wide financial shakeups have hurt SCA’s cash
flow and dried up external resources normally used to regulate it. We
must position ourselves to provide our own line of credit.
- Update seriously aging
equipment. We’re using 1980’s equipment and programs to meet
the professional demands of the 21st century. New equipment will increase
our effectiveness and prepare us for further growth.
- Free up funds for ministry.
Increased cash flow will ensure our presence in the $1.5 million Littleton
facility. It will also fund increased services for limited income clients,
community organizations, local ministries and world wide missions.
WE'RE STEPPING
UP
Faced with the prospect of going forward
or backward, SCA believes the choice is clear.
We’re finding donors to help us raise $150,000 by December 31, 2008, so
that we can:
- Keep pace with our changing
world. Mental health needs are developing and growing faster
than the services to meet them, affecting all aspects of our society.
We’ll stay on the leading edge of the drive to meet these needs.
- Invest resources where
they count. Rather than nursing old equipment and meeting monthly
obligations, we can use our funds directly to change lives. We’re doing
that now, but we plan to do much more. Last year, SCA touched over 3,600
lives. We’re aiming for 4,000 next year.
- Proceed from a position
of strength. After 22 fruitful years of service, we’re eager
to take on the next 22 years. With a strong financial base, we can step
up with more initiative and creativity than ever.

CHANGED
LIVES
Our Clients Share Their Stories
I came
to SCA through a referral from my doctor. I was struggling from a past
filled with abuse. The therapists at SCA counseled me with compassion,
and at no time did they push their beliefs on me. Now, three years later,
I'm strong in my faith, and I am starting a Celebrate Recovery ministry.
I credit SCA for helping me release my shame and guilt, and find my way
back to the Lord. - “M”
I arrived at SCA depressed, overwhelmed and tearful.
Now I am positive, energetic, motivated and joyful. The transformation
has changed my own life and the way I affect the lives of those who love
me. SCA continues to provide the support and direction I need to continue
in a healthy, positive and God-led direction. - “K”
I want to let you know that SCA really has made a huge difference; I'm
living a whole different quality of life. I'm thinking about things in
new ways and I’m open to things that God wants me to be open to. Thank
you for being part of the healing process for me. - “V”
