Nancy Andersson joined our staff in 2009. She earned a Master of Arts degree in counseling ministries and chaplaincy from Denver Seminary in 2007, and a Master of Arts degree in counseling in 2008. She served ten years as a hospital chaplain, and directed a church pastoral care program in Denver. Previously she was a corporate and securities paralegal with US West and Qwest.
Nancy views counseling as a transformative process, often stimulated by health and lifestyle changes that occur as people mature. She has worked extensively with cancer patients and their families, helping them develop effective coping strategies and role definition. Her experience includes work with depression, anxiety, trauma, divorce, grief and loss, self-identity, and life roles. She also works with couples and individuals in the areas of marriage and relationships.
