Jim Lewis, MA, MDiv, LPC

Jim Lewis earned his Master of Divinity degree from Faith Baptist Theological Seminary. He received his MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver, where his course work involved specialized studies in marriage and family therapty in addition to individual psychotherapy.

A licensed professional counselor, Jim is experienced in treating adults and adolescents for diverse issues including depression and bipolar disorders, anxiety and panic disorder, abuse recovery, grief, divorce recovery and single parenting. He has done extensive studies in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology and management of chronic pain. Now in his 60s, Jim identifies with adult clients throughout their life span.

Jim has worked extensively with couples and families in the areas of premarital counseling, communication skills and conflict resolution. He specializes in counseling couples recovering from infidelity. Jim is professionally trained in the Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP) approach, and is certified to use the PREPARE/ENRICH program for relationship evaluation and guidance.
